Water and Wastewater Operators Certification Examinations
The Pennsylvania Section of the American Water Works Association
(PA-AWWA) and Pennsylvania Rural Water Association (PRWA) are
partnering with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental
Protection (DEP) to present the Operators Certification
Examinations. To reach the ultimate goal of increased
drinking water and wastewater system compliance with the
requirement to have a qualified certified operator, DEP requires
testing in order to obtain a license to operate a water and
wastewater plant in
Pennsylvania.
