WATER PLANT OPERATOR
The State College Borough Water Authority is accepting applications for a Water Plant Operator. This position is part of the physical plant and requires a working knowledge of the principles, practices, and equipment of water plant operations including conventional and membrane filtration; GAC; UV and gaseous chlorine disinfection among other skills and abilities. The successful candidate should possess a PADEP water operators certification AE: 1,6,8,10,11,13 or ability to obtain within 12months of hire and obtain a commercial driver’s license with Haz-Mat endorsement within 1 year of hire. Candidate must possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license.
