Tornado Preparedness Week
EPA’s Water Security Division invites you to participate in America’s PrepareAthon!

This week’s focus is tornado preparedness. Tornadoes can severely impact water utilities by damaging critical infrastructure, restricting access to facilities, and causing power outages. Drinking water and wastewater utilities can use EPA’s Tornado Incident Action Checklist and Power Resilience Guide to prepare for, respond to, and recover from tornadoes.
Coming next week: EPA’s Countdown to America’s PrepareAthon! Day of Action.

Building Water Resilience
Together, we can prepare America’s drinking water and wastewater utilities for natural disasters, accidents, and intentional acts.
