This is a supervisory engineering management position responsible for engineering oversight through the implementation of Safe Drinking Water regulatory requirements for Public Water System (PWS) construction, modification, and operations. The Environmental Engineering manager assumes responsible charge and supervises work of Environmental Engineers, Licensed Professional Geologists, and Environmental Protection Compliance Specialist(s) in the Safe Drinking Water Technical Services Section. Direct supervision activities include, but are not limited to: planning, developing, and coordination, for permitting activities, hydrogeologic review, Source Water Assessment and Protection (SWAP) initiatives, and Filter Plant Performance Evaluations (FPPE), for multiple types of public water systems.
