2020 DAVID A LONG SPONSORSHIP FORM
2020 ONE AWWA OPERATOR SCHOLARSHIP SPONSOR FORM
By now, you have heard the news that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the PA-AWWA Board of Directors along with PWEA has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 joint conference. This decision was not taken lightly as the conference represents a significant source of revenue for the Section. Revenue that we count on in order to continue our valuable services.
Together, PA-AWWA and PWEA are currently working to issue a full refund of your sponsorship contribution as a result of the conference cancellation. You may expect this refund by June 2020.
As a reminder, each year, a portion of your sponsorship dollars is allocated to the PA-AWWA’s David A. Long scholarship for $2,000 and the One AWWA Operator Scholarship for $1,000. Almost all of this year’s David A.Long scholarship applicants are graduating seniors.
With this in mind, the PA-AWWA Board is asking you to consider contributing a portion of your refund to put used to fund the $2,000 scholarship and $1,000 for the operator scholarship to this year’s recipients. If you would prefer a full refund, you may still contribute to the scholarship fund through a separate transaction through PA-AWWA if so desired. We will recognize all sponsors via the Water News Source and PA-AWWA’s website.
