Project Manager – Municipal Water/Wastewater

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater – Project Manager (10+Years of experience) to work out of our Pittsburgh, PA Office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PE to become an integral part of GPI.

Responsibilities:

Management of Engineering Design Projects for Municipal and Industrial Projects.
Coordinate with various disciplines on Plans and Specifications.
Developing Scope of Work and budget for projects, along with Proposal writing.
Prepare Engineering Reports for Design Projects.
Daily Management of Projects in Water/Wastewater, Environmental and Industrial Projects.
Candidates must have excellent leadership, relationship building and written and oral communications skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
PE License in the State of Pennsylvania, or ability to get within six (6) months.
10+Years of Experience in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering including Project Management within the Municipal and Water/Wastewater Industry.

Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer 3+Years of experience evaluating, designing, commissioning and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation control systems for Water/Wastewater Transmission/Conveyance, Storage and Treatment Facilities.

Responsibilities:

Experience with the sizing, design, specification, construction and start-up of electrical power and instrumentation and control systems including standby power, variable frequency drives and SCADA.
Knowledge of Water Distribution and Sewer Collection Systems.
Proficiency with SCADA Systems.
Assist with the Development of Project Staff and Subconsultants.
Support field services and investigations, when required.
Aid with Construction Administration and Engineering Services.
Prepared detailed Engineering Cost Estimates
Perform PLC Programming.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
EIT required. PE is a plus.
Three (3) plus years of Project Experience with Water/Wastewater Facilities.
Familiarity with Electrical and Mechanical Building Codes.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
