COVID-19: Water System Re-entry and Returning to “Normal” Operations

In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is hosting a webinar for water and wastewater systems on best practices for water utility workers as they return to offices and transition back to “normal” operations, including continuing safety precautions in the workplace.

 

The webinar will include:

·    An overview of returning to work considerations;

·    An overview of the recently released guidance on restoring water quality in low water use buildings;

·    A case study from Ned Worcester, Seattle Public Utilities, who will talk about the return to operations procedures his system has created; and

·    A Q&A session.

 

The webinar will be limited to 500 participants in order to ensure audio quality; however, it will be recorded so if you are unable to register or attend at the scheduled time, you can access the webinar at a later date.
