This panel discussion will focus on the occurrence and control of PFAS, perfluoroalkyl and
polyfluoroalkyl substances, in drinking water. PFAS are widely used and long lasting chemicals and have been found in soil, air, and water across the globe. US EPA issued new drinking water advisories for PFAS, and planning for a risk assessment for biosolids beneficial use is under way. PA DEP also proposed new limits for PFAS in drinking water.
