Operation Christmas Child Packing Party (and Pizza) Wednesday, October 27th, 12 Noon Perkasie Fire House

It is that time of year again, when those of us at Stone Hill Contracting attempt to give back a little to the community (through Bucks County Opportunity Council throughout the month of November), the water industry (through Water For People, by hosting the GALA on November 4^th at William Penn Inn)  and to young people throughout the world (through Operation Christmas Child). As you probably already know Stone Hill, their employees, vendors, friends, family members, etc. get together each year and pack the Operation Christmas Child boxes, and then we share some time together eating pizza. This year, once again, the great people at the Perkasie Fire House, have offered the use of their facility for this event, where we hope to pack 300 or so boxes for young people all over the world. We would love to  have you join us and partake of this fellowship and fun. You  don’t have to bring anything for the boxes (unless you so desire) just your willingness to help pack the boxes, and help others. If you would like to join us, let me or Nickole (NMUva@StoneHillContracting.com) know, so we make sure we have enough food. IF you would like to donate items for the boxes or donate money to help defray shipping costs ($9/box x 300 boxes is $2700), please reach out to Nickole. At the end of each packing party, we do a group photo that we include in each box with a little note, that let’s each of the recipients know that they are loved by this group of people that lives somewhere that they may never see, but even so they can know that we are thinking of them and praying for them as we do this labor of love.

• From now until the end of November, Fund Raising effort of Bucks County Opportunity Council. When we started this event we would collect specific items for BCOC, but when COVID hit, their needs changed drastically, and they asked us to switch it up a bit, and try to collect some funds to help support them. In order to make it easier on our friends, family, vendors and coworkers, we set up a go fund me link to help collect much needed funds that can be used where most needed. Last year we raised close to $4000, and we hope to do so again this year.
