Laboratory QA/QC for Method 334.0
Course ID 7881 – 6 Contact Hours (DW)
8:00am– 3:30pm

This class will provide participants with an understanding of the disinfectant monitoring required of Method 334.0.  Attendees will learn all aspects of chlorine testing using colorimeters and spectrophotometers.  Attendees will learn and practice through hands-on exercises how to verify the calibration curve of laboratory instruments used for the analysis of chlorine, the proper use of secondary standards, and perform an initial demonstration of capability. Continuous monitoring of chlorine to support Method 334 using process control instrumentation will also be discussed.

Please note:  It is preferred that you bring your own Pocket Colorimeter or Spectrophotometer with you to the class.  If you do not have an instrument and would like to purchase a Hach DR300 Pocket Colorimeter, the cost will be $400.00 (includes the instrument and the training). You will receive the instrument at the class. Please contact or 800-227-4224 x2344 if interested.
