Emergency Resources: Fuel Supply and Supply Chain Management Webinar (9/30/2020)…Two Sessions at 10am and 1pm
September 30, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
Fuel Supply and Supply Chain Management Webinar (9/30/2020)
One of the most requested resources for water & wastewater systems during regional emergencies is fuel for generators. During Hurricane Sandy in 2012, New Jersey water & wastewater systems were frantically searching for fuel for their generators due to the high demand from both the public and private sector. In response to this and other emergencies, PA DEP is working on a state plan to provide streamlined access to emergency fuel for critical infrastructure. The plan is known as ENAP (Emergency Assistance Plan) and is part of our state’s Petroleum Shortage Response Plan. If you missed the EPA/PaWARN webinar on this important plan, you now have a second chance to participate (see registration link below) thanks to Carol Adams (ALCOSAN), who serves as a PaWARN Board Member and Brian Moore (DEP), who is the webinar presenter.
