AWWA’s Refer a Member Program
AWWA recently awarded the 2021 grand prize in the Association’s Refer a Member program. The winner was selected randomly from among all 2021 participants. What did the winner receive? A choice of either a trip to ACE22, with a complimentary conference registration and hotel accommodations, or a check for $1,000.
What is AWWA’s Refer a Member program? Quite simply, you know AWWA provides the best technical resources and networking opportunities in the water-sector. When you refer a colleague who joins AWWA, you get rewarded. The more members you recruit, the more recognition you receive.
Although a longstanding program, AWWA is excited to refresh the program for your participation. For example, AWWA is implementing an active approach to learning about the members you recruit. Not only can a new member enter your name on an application form, AWWA will be soliciting this information as well. In addition, AWWA’s Member Engagement and Development Committee is evaluating how to make AWWA’s membership awards program even more memorable. Stay tuned for more details.
