The Partnership for Safe Water wishes to congratulate utilities in your AWWA section for receiving 2016 Partnership for Safe Water awards.  This is an outstanding achievement and we celebrate the efforts of utility staff as these systems are recognized among an elite group of top performing facilities.  Utilities being recognized from the Pennsylvania Section include:

We will announce the accomplishments of award winning utilities at ACE16, at the Partnership’s annual award luncheon taking place on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 11:30 am –12:30pm at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom, adjacent to McCormick Place Convention Center.  Representatives from the section are invited to attend this prestigious event.


We hope that you will join us in recognizing award-winning utilities for their outstanding achievements.

Should you wish to recognize section awardees locally, please contact Partnership for Safe Water staff ( or your AWWA Section Services representative, and we will be happy to assist you with providing this additional recognition to your local utilities.




Partnership for Safe Water activities at ACE16 include:


  • Partnership exhibit at the AWWA Pavilion:

Visit with Partnership for Safe Water staff and volunteers at the AWWA Pavilion, centrally located in the Exhibit Hall.  The Partnership exhibit will be staffed during exhibit hall hours.  We look forward to meeting many of you there!


  • Sunday, June 19:

Partnership for Safe Water Reception:  Watch for more information about this fun and informal event, coming soon.  The event will be held from 6:30-8:30pm.


  • Monday, June 20:

ACE16 Opening General Session:  Congratulate 10-Year Excellence in Water Treatment Award winner, East Bay Municipal Utility District, at the ACE16 Opening General Session.  Join your peers in kicking off a successful ACE16!


Partnership Awards Luncheon: From 11:30 am – 12:30 pm, the luncheon will be held at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom.  This event is by invitation only.  Awardees will be named at the luncheon, with a photo-opportunity to follow.


Wastewater Optimization Professional Session:  Learn more about the new Partnership for Clean Water program for wastewater optimization at the MON02 Professional Session, Advancing Water Utility Management and Operations at Combined Utilities, 2:00-5:00pm.


  • Tuesday, June 21:

Distribution System Optimization Professional Session:  Learn more about distribution system optimization in the TUE47 Professional Session, Innovations in Distribution System Optimization, structured around the Partnership for Safe Water’s key distribution system optimization parameters.  This informative session is scheduled for 2:00-5:00pm.
