Our office in Hyannis, Massachusetts is looking for a senior level Project Engineer to join the Water/Wastewater Group. As a Project Engineer with GHD, you will manage the planning, design and construction of water and wastewater projects for GHD’s municipal clients throughout New England.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing project delivery strategy and develop job plan, QA plan, securing resources, establishing work briefs and budgets
  • Understanding client needs and help resolve any issues of project scope
  • Overseeing engineers and drafters
  • Leading internal design meetings and client meetings as needed

 

Ideally we’re looking for the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree in these fields a plus
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Massachusetts is preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience working on water/wastewater treatment projects; municipal project experience will be highly regarded
  • Previous engineering consulting experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of state and local permitting considered an asset
  • Previous asset management experience is a plus
  • Must be able and willing to travel throughout New England for project work as needed
