Topic: Preliminary Regulatory Determinations for Contaminants on the Third Drinking Water Contaminant Candidate List

Details: As announced in the Federal Register, the United States Environmental Protection Agency will be hosting a public meeting and webinar on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 to discuss the agency’s preliminary regulatory determinations for select Contaminant Candidate List 3 (CCL 3) contaminants. EPA has made preliminary determinations to regulate strontium in drinking water and to not regulate four other contaminants (dimethoate, 1,3-dinitrobenzene, terbufos, and terbufos sulfone). Other topics of discussion will include the process used for this round of regulatory determinations (i.e., RD 3), the supporting information used, and the status of contaminants not receiving a regulatory determination at this time.

The public meeting will be held at The Cadmus Group, Inc., third floor conference room, located at 1555 Wilson Blvd. Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22209. Participants can also attend online via a webinar link, which will broadcast the meeting discussion and presentations.
