Educational Opportunities

An important part of the PA Section's mission is to proactively advance public and member education. Using and promoting programs developed by AWWA, the PA Section - AWWA, the PA Department of Environmental Protection and others, will assist in achieving the goal of becoming an educational leader in the water industry. It is anticipated that in 2002-2003 emphasis will be placed on water facility security, treatment optimization, and operator training to meet the new operator certification requirements. This page, as well as the calendar of events page, will highlight the educational program as the topics, dates, and locations become available. Also, please refer to the Tapwater and Partnership for Safe Water Program pages.
